Roger Guerin RIP

I heard this evening at french television that trumpetplayer Roger Guerin (° 09th January 1926) passed away on saturday February 06th.
Apparently he fell into a small into a small river in front of his house and drowned. Guerin began playing professionally in Paris after the liberation with amongst others James Moody, André Hodeir, Hubert Fol, Fats Sadi, Don Byas, Kenny Clark, Lucky Thompson, Blossom Dearie,...
He was also part of the Double Six a group with whom he frequently played and was present at the Paris Jazz Festival in 1949 with Bird!

Later on he played with Martial Solal and Eddy Louiss.
RIP Roger.
