Thelonious Monk page

I just added a Thelonious Monk page (all the different pages can be found right on top of the blog just under the title) dedicated to the pianomaster and uploaded a flyer of a concert he gave in the Koningin Elisabethzaal, Antwerp on February 29, 1964. The concert is not mentioned in Robin Kelley's excellent biography.

Looking for early Monk

I'm reading Robin D.G.Kelley's bio on Monk right now and came upon a few early recordings which i never heard before. Does anyone here around happen to have them? Please contact me or leave a message, thanks a lot in advance :

David Jaffe wrote a review/article on the new biography on Thelonious Monk written by Robin D.G. Kelley for the Nation. Hm i really will have to buy this one..

P.S. I googled 'Monk' for finding a picture of Thelonious Monk and had as results pictures of a certain Adrian Monk and a certain Sophie Monk.
