Elmore Leonard passed away this morning in Detroit at the age of 87.

The N.Y.T. has already published its obituary as did MSN.

I haven't read all of his books but what I read of him

Gold Coast,

Rum Punch,

 Mr. Majestyk,

Cuba Libre,

Pagan Babies,

Tishomingo Blues

 and The Complete Western Stories

was more than satisfying and inviting for another one...

The work of Mr. Leonard is of course always connected to film.
