Sam Most R.I.P.

Jazzflutist Sam Most passed away yesterday Thursday 13th in Los Angeles.

This message was spread on a music discussion list :

"I am so sorry to inform you all that Sam Most passed away this morning at 8:05 AM. Before he left us, he was surrounded by friends and family and was in great spirits. He wasn't in pain, but although uncomfortable, he sang and entertained us all as he fell asleep for the last time. He even wrote a new song, called Morphine Blues, and we all sang it with him. He knew he was loved and will be missed greatly.

We don't know yet when and where services for him will take place, but there will be a service in California before we leave next week to return to NY for his burial. Please let others know about Sam."
